Frightening Grant Wahl news

It just seems a little disingenuous. “Hey, Grant Wahl is trending on Twitter, how about we package some of his former stories together (even if it’s just a link from a site search) and see if we’ll get some extra traffic.” Maybe I’m too cynical. Hope they enjoy the extra $50 or whatever was made from ads that cost a half a cent minus labor and hosting costs.

 

Probably a 30 for 30 on Griner coming back from hell on earth and Wahl dying in hell on earth within hours.

 

Lebron specifically mentioned that story/cover in his triute to Wahl, I think its 1000% appropriate for SI to post the cover

think of it this way, if something happens to Patrick Roy, Montreals still posting a tribute

 

He was a publisher. So cold he made his own kid work on holidays.

I'm guessing the suits who Wahl feuded with had zero say in the tributes, which were probably put together by people who used to work with him.

“Oh, we’ve been getting some burnt offerings from readers complaining that we only cover them when they make a golden calf.”

 

How does so much evil come to dwell in an alleged human being?

 

Because a non-trivial portion of one of the largest countries on the planet adheres to the hate, claims it is divinely inspired and has the backing one of said country's two chief political parties and its apologists.

 

I'm still reading tributes to Wahl. Maybe it's the time of the year. Maybe it's the Weller I've been nursing. But, gosh dang, it's like "It's a Wonderful Life." He touched the lives of so many people and helped countless people.
