Barzini's suspended. So is Phillip Tattaglia, Moe Greene, Stracci, Cuneo. Today, I settle all family business, so don't tell me you're innocent, Olbermann. Admit what you did.

Time for the Chief Twit to lose any chance he might have had to recoup his $44 billion.

(Go ahead and try to ban me. Hint: Won’t happen. I’ve never been on the platform. Nice try.)

This feels like third grade, when I was told to take down names of those who misbehaved while the teacher stepped out and went on an enforcement tear that would have made Barney Fife blanch.

If there was still a legit journalism industry left in this nation, they would band together and delete all of their institutional Twitter accounts immediately.

Here's the thing, though — for a lot of these people, their Twitter accounts are their life's work.
Besides the mental and emotional investment they seem to have in it, a lot of their value as journalists and employees is tied to their number of followers. If they delete their accounts and go to an alternate platform, they're gambling that all of those followers will go with them. That seems unlikely. If they're lucky, maybe — maybe — half would. Probably much less. And that's assuming the follower counts haven't been cooked with bots over the years like a lot of people have long suspected.
For better or for worse, they're shackled to Twitter at this point. In their own ways, they have as much to lose as Elon Musk.
