From Fox News, of all people.

Why Marjorie Taylor Greene, who helped McCarthy become speaker, tried the inside game

"It all comes down to marketing versus math.

In this era when members of Congress can build a huge social media following and raise tons of cash online, they don’t really need to toe the line of a political party.

That means they can become a celebrity who nonetheless has little clout in what actually happens in Washington.

Or they can go a different route, which involves negotiation, compromise, often incremental progress – all the things that the strongest partisans hate about government."

I agree. Get her out of there. This isn't a rest home or the Make A Wish Foundation. It's not the try league either.

Is this the new move then? CNN is a right wing house organ according to Dan Froomkin? Who is Dan Froomkin?

She wasn't "telling viewers" that the "nuance" doesn't matter. Watch the clip.

They were both saying that politically this was a gift to Trump and the Republicans are going to play it for all it's worth and try to conflate things and take away all nuance. They were separating the politics from the legal. And she said the DOJ can give people info about what Biden had, just as they did with Trump, but politically Trump is going to be Trump and any differences (or nuance) won't matter.

You mean Twitter Watchman Dan Froomkin overshot his analysis?

Froomkin is a liberal journalist, but solid. Twenty years plus at various papers, then senior writer at WaPo , then HuffPost. His PressWatch is what used to be White House Watch. Or you could click on his name in Twitter and see what he retweets, that will give you a quick thumbnail.

As to CNN, since they were bought by billionaire media mogul John Malone, they have pushed out a number of people who were perceived as too hard on Trump and Fox News. For instance they cancelled "Reliable Sources" and ran off Brian Setzer. There has been a notable upswing in CNN reporters criticizing Biden.
