    Too bad they weren't bought by, "Impoverished man of the people, media truth teller John Malone."

    He wouldn't have "ran off" Brian Stetler.

    Here is the thing. John Malone didn't buy CNN. Warner Brothers Discovery bought CNN. Malone is an investor and sits on the board.

    Malone is 81 years old, and as active as he is, I guarantee he is not running CNN. David Zaslov is running CNN.

    So what happens is, CNN has a new owner (a public company that owns all kinds of media assets that are not about some partisan agenda as you imagine it). ... and like most new owners do, they took stock of what they now owned, and started making changes. ... for whatever reasons CEOs make changes when they acquire new things.

    Then, there were endless stories, the less extreme speculating that "Zaslov wants to tone down the partisanship." Maybe. But some with your narrative, "Too hard on Trump and Fox News."

    Really?

    I mean, could it just possibly be that they ran off Brian Stetler because his ratings weren't good (and were getting worse; right before they canned him he had a weekend in which his ratings hit a 2 decade low for that time slot), and new ownership came in and is looking at how to boost ratings?
