I shall see a Buc-ee's someday, and I shall probably spend four hours in there when I do.

What's being billed as the biggest Buc-ee's is being built right now in northern Colorado.

Oh yeah - That's where I always advise visitors to town to hit up, haha. There is something about its ridiculously huge footprint and vast assortment of goods that makes it interesting to everyone, although we usually only hit it up on our westward way out of town.

Sounds like Clines Corners between Roswell and the 'querque.

One opened last year in Richmond, Kentucky, on my route south to family, and another will open east of Knoxville, also on our route. I love the BBQ sandwiches and my wife loves the clean bathrooms. It's a win-win.

East of Knoxville undersells it. It will go at the main exit to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, which means it will be packed like a freight car and probably outstrip the GDP of Paraguay on a given weekend. It is going to be bonkers.

True true. We'll probably keep the Richmond one as our mandatory stop.

They opened one in north Alabama over Thanksgiving that is almost precisely halfway between here and my parents’ house. Just a beautiful setup, and if it is too nuts there’s always a Twice Daily at the next exit with the full coffee shop and kitchen.

From what I've heard, I don't know if there's any such thing as "packing" a Buc-ee's.

I’ve never felt overwhelmed inside, but the traffic in or out can be a zoo, especially around the holidays.
