He couldn't remember seeing wrestlers being sexually abused, either.

Stelter was the equivalent under of an assistant coach whose boss got fired. He largely did Zucker's bidding.

An upswing in reporters criticizing Biden may simply be a reasonable course correction. Biden's not above criticism.

Wrong. They have no obligation to be just as tough on Biden as Trump.

Biden never held multiple news conferences with the drone of a chopper behind him.

    Only one dipshit did that.

Like the GOP needs gifts. They're going to screech about nonsense no matter what. Legally, Joe Biden is no more in trouble over this than he is over Hunter's laptop. But I guess Ken Dilanian tweeting about how awful this is for Biden makes it so.

Hilary's private email > a number of people in the Trump administration.
Biden's mishandling of a small number of decade-old classified documents = Trump's theft of 10,000 active ones.

    Riiiiiight.

We pretty much know what the deal was with Trump's classified documents, because of all the subsequent info that came out, and we can piece together approximately what he kept and why and how he was defiant when they tried to get him to give stuff back.

But you have no idea what the deal is with Biden, even though you are accepting his narrative. You don't know what the documents are, why he had them, if he orchestrated having them, etc. You also have no idea if he gave them back right away, like the minute he knew. That is what he's saying. It certainly may be true. But it also may not be true. It may be totally innocent when / if we get more info. But all any of us know for certain at the moment is that he had classified documents where they didn't belong, unsecured the way they are supposed to be, and he had them for a matter of years. You are creating more of a difference or distinction than you can know with certainty, because of your biases that Trump is a scumbag and Biden is not.

I'd also submit that if hypothetically we had a Republican president right now and a search warrant got executed on Biden and they found classified documents and the DOJ was doing a lot of posturing about whether to prosecute him, it would feel a little different to a lot of people.

That's not to excuse Trump or create an equivalency. They asked Trump to give back stuff they knew he had (after he had dicked them around for a long time) and he acted like Donald Trump. But, as I said. ... given Trump's typical tactics, Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving. If you are going to put yourself forward as the anti-Trump, maybe you don't have to be entirely unimpeachable. ... but you can't have been this much of a putz.
