Brock calmed down after that first drive. Helps when CMC breaks a 60-yard run

If he’s getting paid for years, more power to him.

Signed a five year extension before this season started. I believe he has more than $20 million coming.

The Jets have an old time Super Bowl victory and two trips to the AFC championship game in recent memory.

The Lions have one single playoff win in 63(!) years.

The Jets are the guy who walks into the nice restaurant in shorts, a tank top, and flip-flops.
The Lions are the urine-soaked bum laying in a pool of vomit on the restaurant sidewalk.

Yeah, but this year they pulled Aaron Rodgers into the gutter with them!

Ugh. That first drive where Purdy looked nervous is looming large. Niners are a great second half team so we’ll see but man. A 7 instead of a 3 to start the game would have been nice.

Hmmm … three points gifted to the Hawks, and they lead 17-16 at half.

Again, the Niners should be able to get the ball and dominate on the ground to start the 3Q, but we’ll see how Purdy answers under pressure. He really didn’t make any major mistakes, but missed a couple of big play chances.

Perfect time for one of those!

The Seahawks run defense was as bad as I worried it would be in the third quarter. And it was just a matter of time until the Niners got to Geno.

Also, is there a linebacker in the NFL who is more easily blocked than Seattle’s Cody Barton (No. 57)? He is AWFUL against the run. And he dropped an interception early in today’s game, too.
