After the first drive today, 50-50 Purdy gets in over his head. The defense and the run game will hide some of that but it’s all matchups. I’m not confident in a Super Bowl LIV rematch going well for the Niners but I think they’d do ok against Buffalo or Cincy. And same thing got the next two rounds. Vikings could be tough. Cowboys could be (but that defense can be got). And it depends on Hurts’ health but that could be a rough go.

It is if you're talking about NoCal. If you include SoCal, and the rest of the country, not so much. Maybe you should expand your horizons. ;)

According to NFLGSIS, Lawrence's passer rating for the game is currently the same as John Blutarski's GPA.

Is Purdy going to turn into a pumpkin? Did you not see what he just did in his first playoff game? Sure some were wide open but he made some really nice throws into tight quarters when the game was tight. He threw for 300+ and 3 yds with zero picks (no close ones either). He’s not going to play like this every time but he’s set a nice long standard.

He’s not asked to elevate a bad team but he’s not screwing it up either (he takes more chances than Jimmy G which is refreshing).

I think Shanahan really trusts him because after he missed the first pass, Shanahan went right back to a medium pass, not a run or easy throw.
