    What's the typical contractual status of a seventh-round draftee? Do you even get a multi-year contract at that stage?

    I think the standard contract is four years for the league minimum, which escalates based on service time. That seems to be the deal that Purdy is on. He makes $705,000 this season, $870K next year, then $985K and $1.1 million in 2025. I'm sure the team has all sorts of outs on the contract if they want to, though, just like they do with all of them.

    I get using the penalty to set up the conversion but I think I would have done it on the kickoff for an onside kick attempt
