The Miami receivers seem to be doing that “quiet quitting” I’ve been hearing about.

It’s aged fine. I wasn’t saying the game wasn’t going to be close, I was just saying Romo’s reasoning was flawed. That said, I’m quite surprised at how this game has played out.

This has to be about the longest ever NFL game not delayed by weather or serious injury - we're over 2:45 in and still over 5:00 to go in 3rd quarter.

Romo’s slobbering over Allen and excuse-making for both QBs is embarrassing.

How many times they gonna let dude sling it? 55 attempts or 200 yards, whichever comes first?

I wrote this last week, but Buffalo's defense just doesn't impress me. Makes big plays, gives up too many easy yards.

NBC's coverage of sports overall is underwhelming, with very few exceptions. I had low expectations after ABC consistently ruined the Indy 500 broadcasts with Eddie Cheever and Scott Goodyear, but NBC's insistence on having too many voices saying too many things while never actually allowing you to hear the cars -- Dale Junior and Danica? And Rutledge in an inflatable raft? -- makes switching to the radio network an easy choice.

And don't even start with the Olympics.

Good work with Skylar Thompson, who has brought the excitement of beating the play clock every down that we haven’t seen since Kaepernick.

And has, for about 20 years. Try to keep up.

The Dolphins, while playing from behind, have wasted two timeouts in the second half to avoid 5-yard penalties in situations where the yards did not matter that much. It's amazing how NFL coaches do not grasp the importance of second half timeouts.
