How do you leave jail hours after being charged with capital murder?

I just did an inmate search. The amount and type of bail are both blank. I'm guessing he hasn't really left jail. The al.com story doesn't say anything about a release or bond or anything.

I’m confident he mistyped. He was very much headed into lockup.

Is the strip the four-lane from the Interstate down toward the university?

No, that’s McFarland Blvd. The Strip is the stretch of University Blvd. immediately west of campus lined with bars, restaurants and shops. Used to be a lot more bars in the mix but has gentrified in the way all university towns seem to lately. But it is still the big party district for students and on football weekends. And you can’t swing a cat without hitting a security camera. They very likely have an airtight case.

Shooting took place behind The Houndstooth (dot at the left). Car with the victim called police from in front of the stadium (far right). Just to give you an idea of the layout.

Hey, I've been to the Houndstooth, before an NCAA gymnastics championships in the 1990s. Our group were the only people in there and the barkeeper kept the place open till about 2 a.m. for us. He said closing was when we wanted to leave. He had fun drinking with some people from Orey-gun, since he was knocking back drinks as well.

That’s when it was an actual dive bar. They rebuilt it a while back into a money-making fortress.

    All is right.
BTW: The Edy kid from Purdue looks to be about 8’4.

32 points, 17 rebounds, no fouls
Well, he threw Mady Sissoko to the floor and Sissoko was called for the foul
