Well-educated, liberal white women just do 97.3% of the online complaining about long COVID. Tanks for nuttin', Taylor Lorenz.

This is one of those bullshit "either/or" things that drive me up the wall these days. Apparently one has to believe that either: A) scores of millions of people are disabled by long COVID and the medical establishment simply doesn't give a shit; or B) absolutely no one has ever had long Covid. No other possibilities can be considered.

Sort of interesting how and why 'Household Pulse' got built. Likely overstates the number of long covid 'cases.'

Long COVID - Household Pulse Survey - COVID-19

I think the Cornell-Weill stuff is interesting as well, to the extent lots of folks as you point out seem invested in denying the existence of long covid entirely.

Not sure where this new piece lands in terms of its reliability:

But the number and variety of longterm postinfection problems is frightening.

The current swell of cases while no one seems to notice or give a damn is also frightening.
