Did you read the article about Letang? They explained the case for him quite well, including the reasons why he hasn't won a Norris Trophy.

NHL99: Kris Letang's 'risky' play shouldn't define his under-appreciated career

I've been critical of Letang. He still makes absolute killer mistakes, though he has gotten better about that. What always blows me away about him is the minutes he logs. That may be part of why he is injured so often, but sometimes it seems as if he never leaves the ice, which is damn impressive for a guy who gets involved on both ends as much as Letang.

I watched Flyers-Ducks last night. Ducks broadcast, of course. Not one mention of Provorov. I was unaware of what happened until I called up SJ after the game. Good point somebody made upthread about Tort's stance on his players regarding the national anthem.

Are you sure you want hockey players doing fashion shows, even if they're women's hockey players?

Google Mikayla Demaiter and get back to me.

And I know you used blue font. But I feel the world (or at least this group) needs to be aware of her.

Hockey in a mall? Who could ever imagine?

I was absolutely enthralled years ago when we stopped in the Hartford Civic Center and saw just that.

Sears, Spencer, huge window into a hockey arena, Penney ... it was a fascinating look.

I was covering the Kings in the 1979-80 season. They opened the season at Hartford but the game was in Springfield because they were still repairing the roof, which had collapsed. At midseason, the All-Star Game was in Detroit -- the first event held at brand-new Joe Louis Arena. The next day, the Kings opened the second half of the season at Hartford. We flew from Detroit to the airport in Windsor Locks -- halfway between Hartford and Springfield -- and we didn't know which city to go to because Hartford was still day-to-day. We just took a gamble and went to Hartford. We guessed correctly as they re-opened the arena that night. Never expected to walk through a mall. Everybody coming through the portals into the seating areas looked up the roof.

Not hockey, but Rupp Arena is connected to a mall and hotel as well.

The blue font was totally to tee up the Slap Shot reference, which @matt_garth spiked to the floor properly.
