    Late to this thread because I didn't watch season 2 until way after it was over. Loved the Beard after midnight episode. One of the best hours of TV I've watched in a long time. Very excited for the next season, and fuck Nate.

    Somebody mentioned it earlier in the thread. People who are bullied become bullies. They are taught to expect the worst from people. That can lead them to lash out very quickly with limited provocation. He's also a gutless little shit, so he tries to take a sneaky approach to undermine Ted and only finally confronts him directly when Ted pushes him to explain his anger. If you want to put it in a more judgemental light, he's just not the nice guy he appeared to be early on in the show. He was always an asshole, he was just too afraid of everyone else to show it in Season 1.

    I just finished Season 2. The tone definitely shifted from the first season, but I enjoyed both. I've heard mixed things about Season 3. I'm sure I will begin that binge later tonight.
