So what exactly "happened" between BC and Reed?

 

Reed agreed to be the next coach at Bethune-Cookman. Then -- before having a signed contract -- he posted a video on social media complaining about how trashy the campus was, how nobody had cleaned his office, and saying that he probably shouldn't even take the job.

Bethune-Cookman realized their mistake and pulled the offer.

People who know him and worked with him say his knowledge and understanding of the game is mind-boggling. Former teammates talk about the guy with awe. And, he's a big name.

But he showed immediately that he is not a guy who will ever be able to function in a university setting.

 

The whole campus is a mess. Dorms are moldy, other problems.
