Interesting they have the NXT ring announcer on the mic tonight.

They X'ed Jimmy, which scared the hell out of me for a second, but looks like this is total storyline since Pearce is involved.

Nice touch to let Taker come out, but still keep his classic Dead Man gear retired.

And LA Knight went from fronting the Maximum Male Models to bring part of one of WWE's A-level storylines and working with Taker.

Impressive. Angle's now an auxiliary member of DX and the Shield.

Graves: "Teddy Hart did the thing!"

Umm, no ... I don't think THAT Teddy got the invitation.

Between Taker with Wyatt and dX backing down to Gunther and that great APA run of segs, this has been some of the best use of legends in YEARS and years

Serious question: Did Hogan ever actually wrestle a match on Raw?
I think he was gone by the time it debuted in 1993, and then was in WCW all the way through to the end. And then when he came back for his last run, IIRC he was on Smackdown. Then his next comeback was in TNA.
Maybe at some point he had a special attraction match or something on Raw, but he was certainly never a big part of it.

Looks like he actually wrestled on Raw seven times. And he did get that epic ovation in Montreal after his WrestleMania match with Rock.

He made some appearances in ‘93 to hype his WM tag match with Beefcake against Money Inc., including the one time when he literally said “we need a nickname. I know, the Megamaniacs” with all the convincing enthusiasm of a Thunder In Paradise episode.

A lot of people are really pissed off they cut the Bayley/Becky cage match for time.

Personally I wooda cut something else (did we need a Bianca Bel air squash?) but I’m a card carrying Bayley honk so

College-age me thought it was dumb as hell. And college-age me hated him beating Yoko.
