Running 2022-23 NCAA Basketball Thread

You either want the team you cover to be really good or epically bad. The in-between 15-16 team that loses in the conference tournament quarterfinals is really fucking boring.

 

Cousin to the team that wins four or five, makes a move in the standings so you make it a point to cover them and that's the game they lose. Like I showed up knowing it was going to happen

Somewhat misleading. He scored all 29 of his team’s points in a first-half stretch.

 

Yes. In a row.

Yeah, they lost, and yeah, they were feeding him like he was Wilt Chamberlain, but I doubt I'll live to see another guy score 29 straight points in a D-1 game.

 

He was bringing food to the ref? Good lord.

 

I doubt that part.

 

All I know is what was on the Youtube. It looked like he walked out and spoke to him, but that may simply have been the ref confronting him.

 

Coach thought he was ordering a McDonald’s All-American.

 

No shit. The ref was telling him to get off the court, not saying you forgot the shake.
