    Arianist Christians disagree with that, Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses included. And so do Muslims, of course

    I think most of the areas of near-universal agreement are covered in the Apostle’s Creed.

    In order of appearance, I would guess the big sticking points would be the virgin birth, the universal (aka lower-case catholic) church and the communion of saints.

    I subscribe to a "there are many roads to heaven" belief that there are non-Christian people who lead just and loving lives, people that a loving God would not consign to the fires of hell.

    If I burn for that, well, it does not sound like the act of a loving redeemer to me.

    I probably know too many Bible Belt "good Christians".

    That Mason jar on the pulpit is ... intriguing. I've seen some non-standard chalices before, but that one's a first.
