I think they were just being regular shitty and not political shitty.

My wife is a Wyoming grad. As she's often said, there's stupid and there's CSU stupid.

My goofy trivia for the day:
    * NC State has won eight of nine ACC games in the same regular season for the first time since 1973-74.
    * Cal (3-20) has scored the same point total in three straight games. That point total is 46. That is not good. The Bears are scoring < 60 ppg for the season, a rarity for a Power 5/6 team.
    * University-6 (3-20) stands at 294 in KenPom. The Power 5/6 record for worst KenPom overall ranking (standing in Adjusted Efficiency Margin) is 302nd by Utah in 2012-13 or somewhere near that time. The Cardinals have a real shot to catch the Utes.
    * The Golden Bears of Berkeley have secured their fifth season of ≥ 20 losses in the past six years. I know teams play more games against conference rivals these days and that the "extra" league games have replaced guarantee games against the overmatched and underfunded. But seriously? Losing 20 in five of six years? That's DePaul territory.

... and here's some goofy trivia, N&O style:

A trip to Charlottesville looms, though. Will have to quickly prove that they get to stay there.

Guess that boot means more than I thought it did. (Yeah, wrong sport ... correct schools.)

I just know that while it's a scenic place, it can be a troubling drive between Fort Collins and Laramie when the wind and snow get going.

Very much so. Made the trip on 287 last month twice on a trip to Idaho. But yeah, lots and lots of wind (and snow) on that stretch.

Yes. Never made that drive in the winter. Even in the summer I'm glad when we get close to Laramie and it turns into a divided highway.

Feel the same way about Loveland and Red Mountain passes. Going over them in summer is quasi-intense. Winter? Yeah, no. 287 actually not too bad in the winter.

There are year-round residents out by our cabin in Centennial who make the 27-mile drive into Laramie every day. No problem for 8 months, but Wyo 130 can be treacherous in the winter and it's closed in October/November just past the ski resort all the way over to Ryan Park and often not reopened until Memorial Day or later.

Meanwhile, I read CSU apologized and is trying to find the guy(s) who did the chanting.

I guess Duke is still going to make the tournament, unless they do something dumb like lose to Notre Dame or Louisville at home. But they got bent over again last night, losing by 22 in Miami. 3-7 against Q1, 14-0 against everyone else. Feels like they'll get a 7 seed and lose in the first round.
