The end of regulation in Charlottesville is going to be discussed. Kyle Filipowski got an inbounds pass with .8 left and the score tied. Looked like he was hit with .2 left. Officials looked at the video replay and determined no foul before the buzzer. A foul would have resulted in two free throws rewarded to Filipowski, and hitting either of them would have almost certainly won the game for Duke.

Virginia wins the game in OT. This will give the WWL's shouting shows plenty of grist for its mills. From 1:10-1:35 in the clip below:

Wow, do Jamie Dixon and Scott Drew not like each other? Their postgame "handshake" was the fastest drive-by I can remember.

While I don't know, it would be odd given that Drew doesn't seem to have a long - if any - list of enemies, and Dixon never came across as the sort to build a list of enemies/grudges.

You forgot the precursor to the Big West, the PCAA.

Tens of people will be impacted.

    Maybe.

IDK, Cruces is a pretty small city and the Aggies average 5K per game. It seems as if they're a pretty big part of winter entertainment in that city.

Plus, concession workers, etc., lose three games of work. New Mexico is a poor state, every little bit helps. A local hotel loses a hundred or so nights of room rentals in a one-week span. Local caterer/restaurant that provides post-game meals to visitors instead sells nothing.

Minimal impact nationally. But there certainly is a local impact.

Gotcha, just seemed a little odd. Most guys at least stop long enough to say "good game"

Nice day for the first half of my handle; the second half refused to buy into the Vols when they were ranked No. 2 with a bullet. At least now when the Barnes curse hits it won’t be against a N0. 16 seed.

Two games in a row that Tennessee has been up two and lost on a 3-pointer that was in the air as the horn went off.

The Mizzou shot might not have been the craziest buzzer-beater of the day, though:
