This actually looks pretty good, but damn, they have given a lot away already.

It looks good but Ezra Miller is so problematic I may have to skip that one. They say it’s all tied to mental health issues and they’ve gotten treatment, but I just can’t overlook the crazy, abusive stuff they pulled.

I get that, or at least I got it when I realized those were Miller's pronouns, which I hadn't realized. I'm torn. I have similar issues with Miller, but I really want to see Keaton's return as Batman.

I'm torn, too, trust me. I love the Flash -- he's one of my favorite DC characters -- and Miller was one of the only things I liked in Justice League. But I'll probably end up waiting until it's on HBO Max.

I thought Keaton was awful as Batman. He was pretty good as a neurotic nerdish Bruce Wayne. How that will fit into a storyline 30 years later, I dunno.

It appears the whole point of the upcoming "Flashpoint"-derived movie is to totally reject the whole idea of "canon."

More like the point is, "It worked for Marvel!"

How ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ Crafted One of Its More Controversial Episodes

This article was written for the 25th anniversary of the Star Trek: Deep Space 9 episode "In the Pale Moonlight." I thought it was an interesting explanation of how it was written. The episode is told in flashback, with Sisko recording a log on his computer about his own shady actions to try to bring the Romulans into the Dominion War. I had never realized he slowly sheds his uniform as the recordings go on, which is a clever touch as he betrays his own morality to save lives. It also ties back to the origins of this thread because Ronald D. Moore was one of the writers of the episode and he went on to be a co-creator of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica.

This isn't a part of any franchise, but it looks good.

Strange New Worlds is episodic this season and it took a moment to adjust from what is now the norm.

This week they dropped an episode early with a crossover with Lower Decks. It was fun and cute. The ending was a nice touch.
