For freaking JAYWALKING!! The very definition of cops gone feral. Look at the lead photo, cops are having fun with target practice on a guy who was jaywalking.

 

Police are the largest para-military force in the U.S. and must be reined in by the civil authority on a regular basis.

 

Let's never forget, the police work at the pleasure of the citizens and the citizens SHOULD be able to change the police's actions whenever they see fit. If you've got a complaint, take it to your city council/county board rep and enlighten your neighbors.

The Sheriff's report was that he was "alert and conscious" when he was sent to the hospital. Would you agree with that assessment?

He had spent two weeks naked in a solitary cell with no furnishings, on a concrete floor with a drain hole to use as a toilet. In February.

Note also that the person in the Sheriff's office who released that video was fired. Walker County is coal mining country. Lots of meth heads there, and more than a few inbred rednecks.
