I actually learned something on sports radio today - On the Dan Patrick Show, Marvin explained that there was initally M Negro History "Week" in 1926 to celebrate the birthdays of Lincoln and Frederick Douglass - both coming in Feb - and to celebrate the achievments of African Americans. THAT's why we celebrate Black History Month in Feb.
