Edge vs. Theory in a US challenge Monday. Finn takes out Edge, and then Cena pops up?

(Bonus points for Edge coming out in a Sexton Hardcastle shirt in the media scrum.)

Great crowd, fun match. The ending could have been better.

I would have rather Jey hit Sami with tbe chair, but make it look unclear who he was aiming for.

Thought the same. It felt like an overbooked mess.

Yep. And with Sami losing when two refs take bumps, I don’t think that storyline is done either. Thinking we could get Sami vs. Roman one night, Cody vs. Roman the other, and we finally get a split again. And if Roman loses both, well, he’s earned a well-deserved, lengthy vacation given what he’s done.

And let’s make Jey vs. Jimmy happen at WrestleMania while we’re at it. Unless it’s Jey vs. Roman …

Maybe KO foreshadowed something when he told Sami you’re not their blood and never will be. Maybe the Bloodline storyline probably should lead up to Jey vs. Roman at WrestleMania given how it all began. And Sami telling Jey “I acknowledge you” on a recent SmackDown …

I need to stop thinking about this and go to bed. Just had to make sure I watched the whole show after work so that I didn’t risk any spoilers. Still liking all the different ways this could go.

I agree. I wanted more. I thought it kind of died at the end, after they did another frame by frame recreation of the Shield breakup chair shot but had nothing happen.

I find myself reading into the looks between KO and Sami. They didnt hug, kind of stared each other down….. pardon the pun “acknowledged” each other just a little to make you wonder

Anyway at the risk of sounding like Vince Russo I need a swerve bro. The tag thing just isnt good enough for ending this one

    Good promo by Johnny.

It's clear he's got Trips' support, but what does he get for Mania weekend? Reunited DIY with a returning Ciampa? Theory or Gunther? I'd hate to have him just be part of an Andre battle royal.

Agreed. If this storyline goes 12 months and ends with Sami and KO against the Usos, that’s not good enough. They could create a story to yield that match over a couple months whenever they want. This has to be more.

I like that Jey never made a decision, and that he was being bullied by Roman the same way Sami was before the chair shot. Could still end with a match for the title, like Sami, but build it for WrestleMania with Jey saying he wants to be the head of the table. Jey walks away from the tag team belts, Solo steps in as Jimmy’s partner to continue that run (hey, if New Day can be flexible), and Jey gets set up for Roman.

Two hours devoted to the history of the NWO and they didn’t even really mention how they drove the gimmick into the ground. At least Hogan was honest about how screwed up the Fingerpoke of Doom was.

And Roman channeling Tommy DeVito in the "Goodfellas" scene. Brilliant!

Any chance that the Bloodline storyline somehow continues with Owens in the Sami Zayn spot? Like, you get the Usos v. KO and Sami Zayn match at Wrestlemania, and it ends with all three of them beating down Sami Zayn, and Owens becoming the new honorary Uso, and then they run with that for a few months?

There' a movie logic to it: when something succeeds, the sequel follows.

God, I hope not. They put on great matches any time they're against each other, but I don't think we need Zayn-Owens 753.
