This survey smells strongly of bullshit to me. For openers, if 60 percent of young men are single, and that's twice the rate of young women, to whom are the extra 30 percent of young women attached to?

Masculinity has been in crisis since we came down out of the trees.

And the "crisis" remains a reliable revenue stream for charlatans like Jordan Peterson.

    The story explains it.

Some of them are dating each other. One-fifth of Generation Z identifies as queer, and research suggests bisexual women make up a large share of the young-adult queer community.

Young women are also dating and marrying slightly older men, carrying on a tradition that stretches back more than a century. The average age at first marriage is around 30 for men, 28 for women, according to census figures.

At any rate, it's an alarming trend.

A charlatan Jordan Peterson may be, but I disagree with your shrug here. Things are different. It's a unique age for several reasons. And that it's unique isn't necessarily bad. But it is unique - and should prompt more dynamic conversations about how to address it.

    Nothing unique about it.

    People are answering surveys.

50 years ago the survey didn't exist.

    Lesbians did, however.

Disagree. Think it’s different - in part because awareness of the matter may only further the gap.

    What "gap?"

And what's the "it" you're talking about?

Is it really a "masculinity" crisis?

Or is it an "equal pay and thus more freedom for women" crisis?
