Most states that are passing laws to allow people to carry on public school property oddly enough leave out private schools.*


*Granted, private institutions are by definition private, but it's really a case of "Strap up where other people's kids go, but not mine."

 

I also think of it as a type of welfare for parents who can't foot the bill themselves for private school. And, yeah, a lot of them are sports factories.
