Having kids changes your perspective on the parents in "Calvin and Hobbes," but if anything it just makes it better.

In lots of jurisdictions, taking the swing is assault.

    If it connects, that's battery.

Know your local laws before starting your next donnybrook!

I used to be a big comics fan, primarily "Calvin and Hobbes" but eventually branching out into things like "Get Fuzzy" and "Dilbert" and "Pearls Before Swine." Basically, anything available in The Providence Journal or that wasn't created in 1952. (Although, "Peanuts" still slaps.) Early Dilbert is mostly chuckle-worthy and droll, but I remember thinking Adams himself was going off the rails when I read one of his treasuries, and there was a long section on affirmations and self-realization and other claptrap. Since then, the comic is mostly what it is, but Adams pops up in the news every few months for doing weird or bad shit. It doesn't surprise me that he's gotten himself cancelled, whether it was intentional or unintentional on his part.

Reminds me of when lamebrain B.C. cartoonist Johnny Hart turned into a born-again anti-semite, anti-Muslim shitstain.
