I also think "The Wall" is just outstanding, too.
I used to listen to it late every night to decompress after a newsroom shift.

Since no one else has mentioned it yet, I always liked "Any Colour You Like" off of Dark Side. Love those squelchy-sounding guitars in the breakdown.

My top 10……in no certain order at all other than to say Run Like Hell is my favorite.

    Run Like Hell
    Comfortably Numb
    Money
    Have A Cigar
    Fearless
    Take It Back
    Another Brick
    On The Turning Away
    Childhood’s End
Two Suns in the Sunset——that is the only decent song on The Final Cut, IMO.

    More trivia…..
Who is the voice on One Of These Days? “One of these days, I’m going to cut you into little pieces…”

    My top 10:

Echoes (for real, although I'll often fast-forward through a lot of it to get to the chiming guitar part near the end, which is the finest moment in the Floyd discography)
    Wish You Were Here
    Comfortably Numb
Us and Them (thinking on it more, this is my Dark Side favorite even though ACYL is also great)
    Mother
    Fearless
    Childhood's End (GREAT song, @Chef2)
    One of These Days
    Any Colour You Like
Shine On You Crazy Diamond (cheating and combining them for the purposes of this list)

And the best Floyd song title is, of course, "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict." Dogshit song, though.

I have forgotten when and where I saw it - it's been many, many years - but some interviewer asked Gilmour about a reunion and his response, which I will never forget, was succinct and in that beautiful voice of his:
First a short laugh, then "Not a fucking chance."

    Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast
    Careful with that axe, Eugene
Come In Number 51, Your Time is Up
Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert
Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk

Worst song I can think of is Seamus
Best song I can think of that didn’t make my Top 10……When The Tigers Broke Free…….wasn’t even on the original The Final Cut……but when it was re-released, it’s on there.

    I think it’s Nick Mason.

Another underrated Floyd album is Obscured by Clouds. Free Four and Childhood’s End are great songs, and some of the others are more rocking than most of their other early 1970s songs.

The live portion of Ummagumma is solid, though. And it’s worth owning the LP just for the trippy album cover (look at it closely sometime).
