I have it, it's great. Lots of MWC and A-10 basketball games, and MWC football.

They can't keep Charleston out now.

And Furman is back in for the first time since 1980. Saw them play a lot from 72-76 when my school was in the SoCon and they were good, with Clyde Mayes and Fessor Leonard.

Watch them. (They won't, b/c they should roll UNCW tomorrow, but if they don't, they're joining Cosmo's Flying Dutchmen YOU FUCKER COSMO I'M BLAMING YOU FOR THIS in the NIT)

CBS Sports Network gets overlooked because it doesn’t show the name brand conferences, but the production values are generally rock solid. And unlike ESPN, they will treat the game at hand seriously and not use it as a shell on which to hang the same 3-4 talking points from Bristol over and over.

I generally agree, especially on being a much better alternative to ESPN, but they did too many mid-major games remotely this year. Still solid productions, as you noted, but I'd rather they were on site.

You're correct - 33.8 percent from the field (193 of 477). The next-highest number of attempts was 338. He shot 33 percent from 3-point range (76 of 230), with the next-highest number of attempts being 151. He also was 115 of 147 from the line (78.2 percent).

A guy I covered as a high school basketball coach went to an EMU game this year and said they weren't playing as a team.

    Today's bubble watch:
    * UNC Wilmington vs. Charleston ... because the Cougars are most likely getting in and bubble dwellers don't need the Seahawks stealing a bid.
    * North Dakota State vs. Oral Roberts ... ORU has an outside shot of grabbing an at-large, though losing to a .500 Bison team as a 10.5-point favorite would not be a good look. The fighting Abmas' ought to just win tonight and save the drama.

It would be amusing if UNCW grabbed a bid and as a result pushed UNC Chapel Hill off the bubble and into the NIT. And I say that as someone who attended both.

They do a handful of Big East games each year. The production quality is good, but I find Steve Lappas incredibly annoying. Like last night during the UNCW-Hofstra game, it seemed like he was openly rooting for Hofstra at the end. I know he's the color guy, but still.

It was Pete Gillen and I was fine with it :D but you're absolutely right. And it feels like Pete is doing stand-up in the Catskills on these broadcasts. It's like he has five or six lines--what the hell is "Desert isn't a city in Latin America" anyway--and he repeats them and he thinks there's a different audience for the 12, 3, 6 and 9 shows.
