Fair enough. I tuned in late and sometimes I (obviously) have difficulty telling those two apart.

I'm sure Pete's a good guy but the little I see of him around this time of year, it feels like analysis layered in schtick. Lots of catch phrases, not a lot of anecdotes about the teams. Dave Ryan is very solid as the PBP guy though. Seems to know his stuff. Same for John Fanta whether he's on the Big East or not.

Agreed on both Ryan and Fanta. Enjoy listening to them both.

I've also enjoyed listening to Brandon Gaudin on some of the Fox broadcasts and Cory Alexander on the ACC Network this season.

Merrimack wins the NEC. I'm sure the entire country will monitor the outcome.

Play-in game, here we come. Welcome to Dayton.

FDU still advances. Merrimack in its last year in the transition to D1 and ineligible for the tournament.

Oh, crap. I thought they said they were eligible, must have heard incorrectly. Good for Fairly Ridiculous. They should led Merrimack play in the CBI or CIT.

The happiest guys tonight have to be the NCAA Selection Committee. They don't have to invent some bullshit reason whey they kept a 30-4 Charleston team out and let in 15-loss Michigan or 14-loss Wisconsin.

They also don’t have to sweat out an at large for 29-win Oral Roberts, which is smiting NDSU.

Gonzaga taking Saint Mary's out behind the woodshed.

Well, one of those under-.500 teams has a chance to get in the tournament this year. Northern Arizona (12-22, 5-13 in the Big Sky) beat Montana to reach the conference championship game. The Lumberjacks had already taken out top seed Eastern Washington in the previous round. They’ll now play Montana State or Weber State tomorrow for the chance to dance.
