Tiger's ex-girlfriend asks judge for NDA release

I almost resurrected the Tiger Woods - available thread, but this seems like the more important angle.

This is a crazy story. It's not clear when they broke up, but she was still living in one of his houses, claims she was "tricked into taking a vacation," and then kicked out of the house while she was gone and told she couldn't come back. If that's how he broke up with his girlfriend of 5 years...

He broke up with his first girlfriend in college in a similar fashion. I think Earl sent her a letter saying it’s been fun but she was no longer welcome.

Why anyone roots for this person to shoot anything lower than 80 every round is beyond me.

I rooted for him in that 2019 Masters because (a) I understood the significance of it. It was going to be Generation X's version of Nicklaus in '86 and (b) I had predicted to my boss and a couple of others when his comeback started that he had one Major left in him. Of course, a year later he pissed away all of that goodwill with the car crash….

That’s pretty close to how my ex broke up with me after three years together and eight months of marriage.

Tiger did the Cruise treatment on her, if she made it one more year she would’ve been a common law wife (Katie had days until the alimony would’ve been significantly higher).

Doesn't need to be more complicated than it has to be: put a pre-nup aside, who even ASKS a girlfriend to sign any agreement, where payment is promised for services rendered (whatever they may be)? Sure people are gold-diggers but I don't care how much $$ you have, that's on you, you have to make that judgment on trust. Wifey says I'm too judgmental, so I get that, but every relationship, i.e. friendship, marriage, is built on trust and you have to make that call.

Asking for a NDA at the start of a relationship frankly smacks of paranoia. At best.
