2023 NFL offseason thread

I've heard others make similar predictions. I just don't have much faith in the Jets to not screw it up.

 

Nor do I, but Joe Douglas seems to value picks a lot. But who knows when Woody gets involved.

 

The other variable I can see them trying to bake into the compensation is if he plays a second year there.

 

“I can’t believe the Jets would trade for a Packers QB who was past his prime.”

 

The trade doesn’t make sense unless he plays 2 years. But would the Packers be willing to wait on draft compensation that long? What actually would make the most sense is a pick this year and then one in 2025 based on the performance in the first 2 seasons.

 

Manning wasn’t an average QB in his last 2 years in Denver. He was great the year they lost to the Percy Harvin led Seahawks and he was awful the year they won it.

 

I think the return won't be awful, but Rodgers will be a train wreck and it won't work out for the Jets, because, well, have you seen the last 53 seasons? (Sorry @DanielSimpsonDay)

 

The real question is - does Joe Willie let Rodgers wear the 12.

Saw the headline - then I saw that it was Zolak - so I can disregard it. Of course, last year he unretired on March 13 - so maybe there's a chance.
