Really? I figured he was a lock to resign with the Raiders.

Brian Hoyer available for the Raiders?

If I’m Woody and the Jets, I’m becoming more and nervous with each passing moment that Rodgers hasn’t made up his mind.
With Carr and Jimmy gone, if Rodgers doesn’t come to NY, you’re gonna be stuck with Wilson again…….that is nightmare fuel for Jets fans.

Honestly, I'm not sure which outcome I'd enjoy more from a chaos perspective.

49ers also sign Darnold, per Schefter. Sounds like he's an insurance policy in case something happens to the younguns.

That sounds like the worst insurance policy I've ever seen.

Did you see Josh Johnson? Josh Rosen? Nathan Peterman? Darnold is at least serviceable.

Patrick Peterson to the Steelers. Four or five years ago, I'd have been really excited about this. Now, they saved a little money by replacing the much-younger Cam Sutton with an aging cornerback.

Yeah - unless the Niners make another move at QB this puts Darnold at third string. Seems reasonable.
