I'll admit I was critical of Ridge when the incident happened (coupled with the snafu he had with Gargano in NXT), but this is absolutely ridiculous. Ridge doesn't deserve anything like what he's getting -- nor did D-Lo Brown with Droz, or Rick Steiner with Buff.

Meanwhile, Bray was a no-show last night at MSG, and the online rumor mill is churning.

Edge and Finn in the Cell at Mania -- that'll be a blast. But will it be Brood Edge and Demon Finn?

Flair is going to announce the next HOF inductee on the Bump. It's clearly not going to be Dutch Mantell, so is this where they bring back Batista?

    On the FB feed ...

I grew up in Vermont! | Facebook

Early this afternoon, Paul “the Butcher” Vachon, a border region wrestling legend, announced on FB he is hospitalized, and he has lost his voice and his memory is failing. He’d like people to post memories of him that they’d like to share with him. Since I’m FB friends with Paul, feel free to post your memories here, and I’ll make sure he gets them.

For those of you not familiar with Paul, he is the last surviving member of the Vachon wrestling dynasty. Paul and his late brother, Maurice “Mad Dog” Vachon, often fought as a tag team. In his retirement years, Paul wrote books about his wrestling years, and he was also a popular figure at fairs and such as he sold wrestling memorabilia.

Photos: The black and white photo is of Paul “the Butcher” (left) and Maurice “Mad Dog”. I took the other photo of Paul at a county fair in recent years.

My thoughts are with you Paul. I remember watching you wrestling in person when I was as a youngster, as well as on television. And it has been great getting to know you personally in later years.
