    I’m sure it’s someone from the Bears, but I’m betting it’s someone from the ‘20s or ‘30s. Luckman played until the early ‘50s — surely they had retired numbers before that.

    I was going to guess Sammy Baugh, but that now seems too obvious.

    So I’ll go more obscure and guess Tuffy Leemans.
