    That's true, but people interpret words in their own way (and with their own intensity).

    To a Democrat, "liberal" means compassionate, empathetic, sharing. To a Republican it means taxing and irresponsible spending and choking regulations and big brother everywhere.

    To a Republican, "conservative" means responsible, sober, traditional. To a Democrat it means selfish, uncaring and fuck you/I got mine, even before we get to the racist/authoritarian descriptions.

    And you want these people to agree on what "woke" is?

    Twenty five percent of self-identified Republicans equals somewhere between 6-8 percent of all voters.

    I don't think either political group is married to their traditional definition - if they can improve their election viability by 2 percent.

    That’s the problem with the US, voters are voting for the person instead of what they stand for. At least that’s the bill of goods they sold me in elementary school in the 70’s.
