He also said Matt Painter was the right guy to get them through it

I wrestled at my high school and my mom wouldn't come to my matches. Just as well as based on how she was at football games, she'd have topped that easy.

    Yeah, I heard that, too.

Crazy idea, but I thought if I could make it to Vegas this year before the college hoops season started up, I'd get a futures bet for Purdue to win the tournament in 2024. Hey, there is a precedent.

Yeah but Tony Bennett is an OK coach. I'm not sure Matt Painter should be coaching my fifth-grader.

Not what I was hoping for when I clicked the link for "Purdue mom takes it hard" but I'm still satisfied.

One of the reasons I don't pay much attention to college hoops until now. So much coach slurpage.

    5 seeds sweep the 12s -- but we have a 16, 15, 13, 11 and 10 playing this weekend.

    "It's all about the student-athletes."

Kent State-Indiana will trip at 10:35 p.m. EDT in Albany. ASU-TCU will be close to halftime then -- in Denver.

Funny to see how certain fan bases that have never seen a title in decades or in any sport in any year gloat over failure.
