It's possible the judge, whoever it may be, will put a gag order on all parties. Trump might observe it long enough to get back to Florida from New York, if he does go there.

    Oh.

That bill removes the need to get parental consent for kids as young as 9 to work. It also removes the requirement for employers of children to limit their hours and job responsibilities so they aren’t put in danger. Just recently, more than 100 children were found to be working third shift in meatpacking plants here. Now that’s OK. It opens the door for exploitation of immigrant children and child trafficking to use kids as profit centers at legit businesses.

So the trumpublican party talking point seems to be that if he's indicted, it guarantees he'll be re-elected. Wishcasting.

Who does this win over? I think the cult is underestimating the public exhaustion of trump.

My only concern is that this is probably the weakest case of the four (at least from what I know about all of them).

It still seems like Georgia would be a slam dunk, just from what's publicly known. Hopefully, if this happens with New York, some other indictments will follow soon after.

Why did the DA, if he did, tip off Trump’s attorneys?

I get the thing about norms, but this asshat has shown he will use anything to foment insurrection.

That, in part, makes me think the indictment story might just be bullshit. Especially since only one source, a bullshit artist, has said it’ll happen. Once again, he’s setting the agenda, unchallenged. The media is doing his dirty work.

Since when has SPC observed an order or suggestion from anyone for any reason?

Agreed. OTOH, I don't blame NYT for publishing it for the simple reason that if something legally does occur and we end up with another 1/6, would you wonder if you could have done more to prevent it in advance? Better to overprepare than underreact.

Contempt of court could mean immediate jail. Probably be a fine first, but testing a judge's temper is a bad defense strategy.

Hey, I hope you're correct. We're on the same side, but while I never want us to overstep or turn into judge, jury and executioner, when is someone finally going to make clear to SPC that he's not above the law?

CNN runs a minute-long story on the protests in the streets of Paris which leads into a story on Trump claiming he'll be indicted Tuesday and asking cultists to protest.

“The term ‘October surprise’ was originally used by the Reagan camp to describe its fears that Mr. Carter would manipulate the hostage crisis to effect a release just before the election.”

They feared a Carter manipulation of the hostage crisis, so they took it upon themselves to manipulate. It is always projection with the conservatives and GOP. ALWAYS. Not just now, but for a half-century and counting with these rat bastards.
