This is largely right though. I would add to the immigration backlash the acceleration of boomer retirements and the deaths/disabilities from Covid.

 

Dude, I don’t know every damn Federal law and guideline. But I do know people who work to better the lives of disadvantaged kids say this law sucks and will lead to more exploited children.

 

I’ve wondered the same though. Isn’t there some sort of federal law on the books for this, or is it purely a states-only issue?

 

Seems to be a lot of maga whining about how ridiculous the chargers are. Of course, we don’t know what the charges are or if there will be any. Sure, educated guesses.
