I have lived in Arkansas for all but one of my 55 years. I never heard about the Elaine massacre until a decade or so ago.

I’ve lived in Fort Smith most of my life. I never heard about the telephone operator strike here until a historian friend of mine announced he was doing a speaking engagement about it.

I'm sure it goes for a lot of ages, but getting divorced at 92 and then getting engaged seven months later certainly is a choice
