She’d have to uncuff him a few seconds later. It wasn’t worth the effort.

Nothing happened yesterday, but let's use some logic.
There are verified stories that the DA's office has talked to the Secret Service. They called out all the cops and barricades to prepare for protests.
If they WEREN'T going to arrest him, wouldn't it have been a whole lot simpler to just say so and not do all that?

Yes, because is a complete good use of the state legislature's time. You know, small government, local control, and all.

Republican Gov. Bill Lee has signed legislation that says local governments can't ban gas stoves, even though no current city in Tennessee is currently pursuing such actions.
The legislation was introduced amid fears from earlier this year that the Biden administration was considering a nationwide ban on gas stoves due to growing health concerns over the appliances. While the White House has said President Joe Biden would not support a ban, a Consumer Product Safety Commission official sparked suspicion when he said "any option is on the table" when it came to regulating gas stoves.
Under the legislation Lee approved last week, local governments cannot regulate the "type of source of energy" delivered to customers for utility service connection or appliances. The legislation went into effect immediately after receiving strong support inside the GOP-dominated Tennessee Statehouse.

The easiest problems to solve are the ones that don’t exist.

We’re way too deep down the rabbit hole for logic to work anymore.

Everything is just further evidence of the conspiracy.

Good. Give him what he wants -- slap him in neck shackles.

And if he says or does one fucking word other than "yes sir" or "no sir" during the entire process, do what you'd do with 99.999997 percent of all joe schmoes out there who get run in on felony charges and then start running their mouths: bring out the rubber clubs.

Wouldn't the better way for a Republican to answer question about Trump's pending arrest is just NOT TO? By all means, do the Dems a favor by explaining why Trump's involvement with a porn star is of no concern to anyone.

Compare and contrast the media's coverage of Hillary's illness during the 2016 campaign to McConnell being MIA for nearly two weeks.

Still surprised no one has raised the possibility that he fell after a gay lovers quarrel...
