Mila Kunis' heritage is Ukrainian, so that dog don't hunt. And great response from Mina Kimes.

Has nothing to do with Kunis being Ukrainian.

It's the barest of fucking threads to hang an excuse on but they WERE talking whiskey nips so it's easy to see where his tongue moved faster than the brain.

Doesn't absolve him but the excuse isn't bullshit.

You can clearly see him look around to see if anyone got what he said. The excuse is total bullshit. Something pulled out of their ass by an assistant station GM or low-level Audacy puke.

Maybe. But there's validity with the fact Kunis hawks whiskey and that's all the dude needs to keep his job ahead of required sensitivity training.

WEEI doesn't give a shit about casual racism anyway. Bread and butter of their audience.

It's not all about the audience, might not even be mostly about the audience, it's about the culture at the station. It's always been very bro-y.

I’ve heard better excuses in traffic court.

How's that 'chink in the armor' guy doing these days?

    Ignorance isn't an excuse.

So I'll take the counterargument here and remind people one of the reasons these mooks are paid very well to run their mouths on the radio is they're expected not to make mistakes exactly like this one.

Yours might be more of a tangential argument, and still valid.

    Kimes/Kunis Nips/nips ...

They were slinging yang about whiskey nips.

Chink in the armor will always be an unresolved argument here.

That must be a very local coinage.

'Mook' is most widely and best understood as this:

    https://www.dictionary.com/browse/mook

    Definition of MOOK

    https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/dictionary/english/mook

The word most often and widely associated with what you're suggesting starts with a 'g.'
