I was somewhere in the mob on the floor for this one. I might have clipped Moddy on press row on the way down, ha.

The buzz on coaching search SZN Twitter (which is more addictive than any soap opera) is that Altman sees Creighton opening b/c Notre Dame might be waiting on McDermott.

That’s the Alexander Memorial Coliseum, pal. Affectionately known by Tech students as The Big Tit.

Siena's star player was Doremus Bennerman, who I played with in grammar school -- CYO New England Champions, 1986! -- and who went on to a long and successful career overseas. He was smooth as hell, but a tick under 5-10 and never made it to the NBA.

He made that team go. C-USA was pretty good this year. If UAB beats Vanderbilt tonight it's an all C-USA NIT final plus FAU to the Sweet 16.

Looks like Texas Tech is going to hire North Texas's coach.

Jelly Walker ate Tyler Perry alive in the C- USA tournament. Jelly was pissed he didn't get POY a second time. He had six or seven more points per game and better stats pretty much across the board. If it is a North Texas - UAB final it would be their fourth meeting this season.

And now C-USA loses all three schools to the American. That conference's Wiki is more complicated and has more tentacles than any sentence I ever had to diagram in seventh grade.

I didn’t even know you could mispronounce Huntsville but this NIT announcer found a way.

That’s beautiful. Because Utah Valley was once a junior college in something called the Scenic West Athletic Conference, there is a banner in their gym proudly proclaiming “SWAC Champions.”

Did they win anything in the Great West as they transitioned to D-I? Now THAT'S a collectible!
