Oh, I know how the NCAA does it. Would just think with the ample options in Vegas, even on that side of the Strip, there would be something better. Especially in the regionals with fewer and better teams. Something like the Aria is the best on that side of the strip, but there has to be something above the freaking Luxor. The Park MGM would be much better (and probably is used honestly).

I’ve never been to Vegas, but aren’t the hotels gigantic there, to the point where you could double up with two teams and still have them in separate wings with little chance of contact?

Yes, you could at least in terms of rooms. Not sure about meeting spaces.

Park MGM and New York, New York are right next to the arena. Neither are luxury but the location probably has them used. The MGM Grand is just across from there and I would assume also would be nice enough. If not splurging on something like the Aria (might be my favorite and also close to the arena), I'd use Mandalay Bay over Luxor for a fourth.

For the Pac-12 tournament, the discount hotel packages were at Excalibur, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, New York-New York, Park MGM and Vdara.

Was it the hotel equivalent to this North Vegas diner?

Today's corporate Vegas is not Vegas of the '70s '80s and '90s.

Do you need to be told you're right or wrong?

What I'm saying is that Vegas sucks today compared to the Vegas I grew up with and loved.
