Zags play like dog for the first half and part of the second. Smith comes off the bench and fuels a huge run. The Bruins’ hairy white dude comes alive and Gonzaga misses free throws as usual (this is the worst free throw shooting team Few has had), allowing UCLA to take a late lead.

And Strawther hits a 30-foot shot to bail them out.

More than 30 feet, wasn't it? At any rate, if he had missed it, you'd have to wonder why he didn't drive around the guy to the right and pull up at the 3-point line. But good for him.
Tremendous game. Not often you see both teams lead by ≥ 12 points in the second half.
