If we're comparing cultural bona fides ... I grew up in early '80s L.A. (which you're aware of) when Cambodians, Vietnamese, Laotians, and other Asian kids flooded into town and became my classmates and friends thru elementary, junior high, high school, and beyond. I'm lucky to have grown up in that human stew. Neither here nor there but I'm not one to let a good ratio'ing go unchecked.

As one of the articulate and nuanced members of this board who I think contributes much here ... you should know better than to shoot first.
