North Texas has held Wisconsin scoreless for the final nine minutes to win by two. Nice coaching job by McCasland. That's thirty wins.

Yeah, both teams are in the 300's for game pace. Totally normal.

Network vs. dwindling cable/satellite. What's the comparison of NBA games on ABC vs. Iowa-Louisville?

Iowa-U of L was an ESPN game.

And Iowa-South Carolina should draw a few eyeballs Friday night. Glad it’s the later game (6 p.m. PDT) so I don’t have to leave work early.

The CBI champion was from Conference USA.
The NIT champion will be from Conference USA.
If Florida Atlantic can win, the NCAA Tournament champion will be from Conference USA.
Has any league ever pulled off that trifecta? And who would have ever thought a dead man walking league might be the first?

I’m betting a plane is in route from Lubbock to Denton sometime today with a suitcase full of cash.
It has to be him or May.

Anyone denying that there is increased interest in the women's game is a troglodyte. It's not at the same level as the men's and likely will never be, but it's well above what it was even five years ago.

The women’s game being played below the rim is why some folks — pretty much me included — would rather watch a men’s game. More athletic, more dynamic, more exciting.

That said, Iowa’s Clark is a beast — and worth the price of admission.

Iowa women's basketball had more eyeballs on it than any ESPN NBA game this year. ESPN televises 4 games a week by my count. With an army of talking shows to support it.
And Iowa women's basketball beats it.

That is one helluva indictment on the NBA product.
