And too bad if bigots want to scapegoat them?

The fact that the shooter was trans shouldn’t be in the headline. It certainly shouldn’t be on the cover of the NY Post.

The problem is that the anti-trans and drag queen contingent will run with it as one more reason to discriminate while the statistics show that they are a tiny fraction of one percent of the shooters while the vast majority are straight white men.

It's that way in/on most of Rupert's outlets, even the non-US ones.

Perhaps those who are horny about “traditional values” and how the young people aren’t sufficiently in love with Murica can chime in with thoughts.

Somebody I follow RTed a MAGA account that listed four mass shootings carried out by trans/non-binary people in the past two years. Four out of something like 1,300 mass shooting events. Big whoop.

Tiny fraction of one percent, yes. It won't matter to the right wing screech machine.

Sadly, trans people might have a better chance of being left alone if right wingers think they might be packing and have a hair trigger; as opposed to these elaborate campaigns to try and get them to practice empathy.

Basic math and logic aren't these people's strong point.

And the guy in Colorado wasn’t even trans. He was just saying that to avoid hate crimes prosecution.

They no longer had bullwhips to make the n***ers do what they told them, so instead they needed guns.
