    Outside the courtroom, yes. Inside, no. This is a white collar crime of some complexity, so the court proceedings are likely to be exceedingly dry and poor television to boot.

    Not sure this ever gets to a courtroom. Does it?

    I think even Trump's legal team of literal imbeciles would try to plead it out.

    This is one time I’d pay to see someone try to defend themself in court.

    So will Trump be fingerprinted and have his DNA taken as part of the arraignment process? If so, they'll probably get evidence he did shoot somebody on 5th Avenue back in the day.

    But when? Does he derive benefit from dragging it a bit and then decide that the requirement of physical presence in a courtroom cramps his campaigning? I could see him cutting a deal right before a trial is scheduled to start.

    Yeah, the long running movement in Michigan was mostly rural schools (almost all white) who got roadblocked by (mostly) Detroit Catholic schools (mostly white too. years ago). When the Catholic schools started recruiting black kids too, that REALLY set 'em off.

    But in the 90s the penduluum started swinging the other way, with the rise of charter schools and the Shiite Dutch Xxtian schools powered by the DeVos conspiracy to wipe out public education completely. Then all the hardworkin white folks suddenly loved private schools.

    Two women who took money for sex, and two convicted felons as star witnesses.

    LOL

    I've always thought the second run was no-brainer - he thought it would "shield" him from prosecution and give the added benefit of stoking his base if charges did come his way.

    If any ex-POTUS actually pleads guilty to any felony, that sets a monumental precedent for the future. It kicks the door open for everything. Although I suppose it would set an even bigger precedent if they were convicted despite contesting the case to the end.

    Frankly I doubt Fatfuck gives the slightest microscopic droplet of shit about any potential precedents, especially as opposed to saving his own ass.

    I'm not a fan of this indictment.
    * He revels in victimhood.
    * The crimes involved are absolutely nothing in comparison to the other stuff he has done. Cheerleading for an insurrection and stealing classified documents > business crimes. Hold off on the small stuff and let the feds drop the hammer.
    * Common wisdom suggests the NY case has at least four hurdles to climb. Too many.

    If the leadoff batter whiffs, it's over. The leadoff batter has to get on base.
