    He's a bully.

    But he's also a coward.

    Coin toss.

    Maybe!

Nolo contendere is the legal equivalent of 'tell me you're guilty without telling me you're guilty.'

    As I said above, Trump's a bully, but he's also a coward.

I don't think he has the backbone to martyr himself to the cause in any meaningful way.

This ain't baseball. These are four separate criminal investigations by three separate jurisdictions, two state, one federal. I mean, it's quite possible that Bragg got the first indictments not because he was rushing to be first, but because he had the easiest case to prove or just because his investigation was further along than the others. In any event, it is certainly not true that if Trump beats one charge he'll beat all the rest. That's just doomcasting. Juries contain few pundits, thank God.

Similar to gay marriage, or Harvey Weinstein - once it happens, people wonder what was so hard about making it happen, why people were so worried about it.

This case stands on its own and will have no influence on the other cases. It will succeed or fail based on if it’s good enough or not.

If he committed crimes, he must be held accountable, otherwise he’s above the law.

This being the first case reminds me of the naysayers on his first impeachment. “Oh, that guarantees him reelection!” How’d that work out?

Like first impeachment, you do it despite political headwinds because it’s the right fucking thing to do.

If you have Apple TV, the new Problem with Jon Stewart is really good (minus all the comedic fluff).

"I dunno, Davey. Indicting a former president could set an awfully bad precedent....."

I hope that it sets the precedent of career criminals staying in their lane and never running for president again.

    GQP in a shambles.
    Fox down the drain.
House Speaker allows lunatic fringiots to take over.
Would-be POTUS candidates headlined by provincial bumbling clod who was just owned by Disney and the other a twice impeached landslide loser under numerous state and federal criminal investigations just indicted on dozens of felony charges.

    How terribly infra-dig!
